1. This upcoming generations AND the 30'ers all have an iPhone shoved in their ear and/or thumbs permanently bent texting 24 7's.
2. After watching this insanity over a phone and all the sheep that were media led to it? I'd guess internet participation across the board for interests, hobbies and activities will fall off completely.
3. There was a report recently that advertising revenue is way down on several big sites like Yahoo and the like because traffic is down.
4. Can you even fathom this iPhone generation getting behind the wheel of a 31 ft RV, or pulling an RV? They would not be able to pull their dang phones out of their ears or away from their thumbs to back out of the driveway.
5. Sadly I don't think that generation is ever going to consider RV'ing or camping. They don't even look around at their surroundings as they are walking. :(
I dont expect you to follow any of this because you're old.
1. There are forum apps for your smartphone that will put all your forums in one. I use Tapatalk but there are others.
2. You should realize that smartphones today have internet. You wouldn't believe the amount of info you can obtain with a smartphone. A child in Africa with a smartphone has more access to information than Bill Clinton did while in office. Theres also something called social media, connecting people from all over the world.
3. The reason Yahoo and others are down is called Google, a tech giant.
4. Being tech savvy today has no relevance to the ability to tow a trailer. In fact, its probably easier today with your smartphone because they all have voice directed navigation that know's where you are and where you're going better than you do. No u-turns anymore or getting stuck on a 2 lane road with big trailer.
5. Everytime I go camping there are loads of kids there too riding bikes and on the trails with no gadget in their hands unless they are geocaching. How are you to know they won't take their kids someday... you don't.
Just FYI... my first comment was sarcasm since you completely over-generalized my generation and those younger.
Im 35 married with 2 young girls. I cant tell you how much I love my pup and getting to use it, getting to put the love of camping in my children. If you want to know the REAL reason, in my opinion, why this site may not be what it used to is other sites. PopUpPortal, PUX, and the Facebook PopUp Owners Group that I admin, get hundreds of comments a day combined. Maybe you should check them out. Lots of 30-somethings and younger showing their love of camping. Again, I did not mean my first comment.
