We have a port-a-potty we keep handy all the time. Because we use the camper a lot in the winter and don't run water through the lines, the port-a-potty works very nice. But when water is available, no need to use it.
We use it when traveling also, because we travel with no water in the tanks. Come in real handy sometimes. But I'd never want to replace the on-board toilet for this thing! No! Never!
So, if you get or have a camper, why not just pick up a port-a-potty, or cassette toilet and you are still free to use it!
