They look nice and small - I wonder if anyone on the list has tried them? I look forward to any reviews.

AH Man - That brings back childhood memories of the late late 40s-early 50s for me. Mom would have the wood/coal stove going before the rest of us kids got up. The kitchen windows would all fog over and freeze on the inside. Couldn't see out until you scraped away the frost...

Wouldn't give up those memories for anything. Same goes with listening to the rain hit the trailer roof all night long when camping. Puts me to sleep in a heartbeat remembering the rain hitting the tin roof of where I was raised in Illinois...

My dad would raise and train bird dogs and trade for winter supply of coal to heat with... Some folks say we were really poor folks back then - richest days of my life...

We had this problem with our old trailer (2011) which we just traded in for a new 2014 Jayco 266 RKS with the climate package. I don't know how this will be on the new one yet we haven't had a chance to use it this fall.

In the other trailer we did seem to have the condensation on the windows problem when we get up in the mornings when we are camping in the spring and fall. We do a lot of camping during this time. I usually just get a paper towel and wipe all the windows and crack a window a little. But the idea of a small dehumidifier sounds good - depends on how small it is. I'll have to check that out.

We always have the ceiling vent open about an inch. Anytime you use much hot water (bath, doing dishes, cooking) open the ceiling vent more to let the moisture escape, sometimes even run the vent fan on low when cooking. Cracking a couple windows also helps move the air in the RV. Single pane windows will usually be worst than dual pane windows which I recommend for those that do a lot of cool weather camping. We use electric heat as much as possible.

Our furnace runs off the propane. Do you guys use both the electric heat and propane or does not everyone have the propane furnace?

Open roof vents a couple of inches. Turn on ac AND electric heater for awhile.
