Covering camper inside barn

Thanks everyone for the response! I think I've decided against getting a tarp for now. I think I will try to put some old sheets over the max air cover and roof mounted air conditioner and other vents on the roof. If it gets really nasty then next year I'll maybe get a cover. The barn is a pretty active barn with some cows in a different part of it.

Now concerning mice. I'm planning on putting dryer sheets through out the camper and a lot of mice poison. I'm hoping that'll be enough. I figure I will check it out periodically to make sure nothings getting in.

No tarp for sure. If it were me, I would not cover it at all. It will get dusty. But it will come clean with a good easy wash.

If a mouse infestation is in your future, a cover won't make a difference - but that wasn't the question, was it?

I'd say give it a try without and see how dirty/dusty it gets. All barns are not the same. I don't blame you for not wanting to see dust all over yuor shiny TT. The ADCO cover would be fine. Hanging a tarp over it won't keep the sides from getting dusty. The biggest pain you will have is getting the dust out of the cover in the spring.

mice are more important, buy fresh cab and peppermint oil. or the mice will chew your camper up in a week.

Mice get into RV's and setup home. Soon you have chewed up cushions, chewed up wiring, and a lot of mouse droppings in the walls.

Worry more about mice .

We keep ours in an old barn and we don't cover it. We also have a classic car in there that we do cover. Don't really want to hassle with a big tarp for the camper - and it always looks nice and clean when we pull it out. In fact we have been asked if we store our camper in the living room of our house. ;)

Covers are nice. Barns are nicer. Put a tarp over the top to catch the bird droppings.
I would be more concerned about rodents getting in the camper, they can do a lot of damage.

You'll probably get some bird dropping on it, but you'll be washing it anyway after storage. I's save your money.

It's a lot easier to wash it off than it is to put on and take off the cover. Also, stuff that has been stored in most barns for a long time (many years) will show a lot of dust but for a few months to a year you may not have that much dust on it. Unless the barn is really active.
