Ok Lance dealer/representative, let me re-phrase: "The waste hose compartment on the some Lance models will only hold a 10'hose, which is woefully inadequate".

So if a Truck Camper is restricted to being 8 feet wide and if you put a tube in to take valuable storage space. Then set it at an angle to gain more room to this tube space. Then you want Lance to include space for even longer hose storage? Most people that wish to have more hose length, usually attach their own waste hose storage pipe/post somewhere on their truck or camper. Then post it on this forum as something they did (DIY). Personally I have never needed a longer hose, as mine has always reached whatever I needed to put it into. :B Maybe you have a shorter hose?;)

No assist from the manufacturer needed.

Wow. This is new territory for me in a forum. You see, everywhere else on the planet, if someone starts a post with "Dear (insert manufacturer here)" it usually means "place ideas here you wish the manufacturer would adopt".

Obviously on this forum, what it really means is "crony from the manufacturer or salesman or exuberant supporter will tell you why the manufacturer is smarter than the market at large, and you should accept anything we send you way best way to get r done."

b - I've accomplished the mod you suggest, long ago (see my photo in the Photo Thread sticky on page 1). Wouldn't it be nice to buy it from the factory that way from the beginning? Isn't that the point of this thread, what could have been done better from the factory, not what you can modify on your own?

Thank you Bedlam for shining the light on the fact a camper CAN be manufactured with more hose room.

As for Lance Campers, I love 'em; I own one and wouldn't trade it. (still needed more sewer hose room).
