Don't feel bad, I had the same opinion toward ST tires. After all, I'd had them on my last TT (Carlisle bias-ply's) and never had a problem. I figured it was because I always checked pressure and was no where near the limits.
Then I got this trailer with Carlisle radial. It has even more safety margin with the tires. Should be better right?
Wrong, every one failed and the spare had a tread separation just sitting there.
After getting a set of Maxxiss 4 years ago I never had another problem.
