Probably but, I bought the TT used and I think things were cobbled together and who knows. They were the Westlake brand, with excellent tread.
So...you really don't know how the tires were treated, whether they were ever run under/over inflated, how many curbs they hopped, or even how old they were. But the problem was definitely where they were made however long and many miles ago. With all due respect, this is why I take complaints about "China bombs" with a huge grain of salt and healthy dose of skepticism. As I said on page 1, how the legend propagates. Jmho.
Exactly. In addition, you cannot judge a book by its cover, errr I mean you cannot judge a tire by its tread. So often there are underlying problems waiting to happen.
