I was referring to a few pennies saved per gallon.

I KNOW my truck and RV WILL fit at ANY truck stop. If I take a trip off the freeway to the less expensive station they may not be easy in/out! That right there is worth $12 to me!

The fact you get fresh clean fuel at MOST all truck stops is worth $12 to me.

It is not just a few pennies in most cases. For example, where I live diesel is about $2.59 at a truck stop where there is a lot of truck traffic. Down the road about 5 miles it is $2.19. That is a $12 difference if you were filling up a 30 gallon tank. So not only are you saving in fuel costs, but you would also be saving money from the insanely marked up in store items your wife would shop for that she can probably get the same thing at Wally World for a lot less. However to each is their own on what they want to spend their money on, but I would not just blow it off as "a few pennies" because it is not.
