I'm not feeling the looks of this truck and I'm surprised Fred Diaz and Carlos Ghosn signed the release of this design too.
As far as the frame and drivetrain strategy I believe Nissan will find a decent market for it, but again I'm not sure the appearance will help the cause. One smart move is if Nissan can pursue some 3/4 ton truck owners/future owners to buy this truck as it will probably be more fuel efficient than a 3/4 diesel. Selling a light duty diesel like the ecodiesel when diesel fuel is ~1.00 more/gallon than gas may become a tough sell.
