Ponie, you're a real card LOL. First you have NO idea what you are talking about when it comes to the Torque of a diesel, then when I post the actual chart you blow it off as a "paper torque curve". You whine about people posting "vintage" information about big block engines then when you realize you are wrong and the engines in question were late generation Vortec Chevies, then you complain because it's a paltry 42 cubic inches smaller.
Everytime someone even mentions fuel mileage you have a conniption fit. It doesn't matter to you that the diesel gets better mileage at ALL speeds than the gasser, if someone runs a bit slower to increase it you cry foul.
Then when someone who actually lives near you steps up and says "I'll do your test with you", oh gee you are suddenly unavailable.
You keep talking about pushing the reset button on the gas mileage computer. Do you know how silly that is? The computer records AVERAGE mileage, that includes when you are stomping on the pedal and coasting down hills. If all you want to see is how much fuel is used during a quarter mile on ramp, that info is useless.
I think you must be 8.1Vans brother in law.
