Diesel vs gas......................
OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

I would agree, drive the one you like best, and can afford and all that stuff. Most of my driving is speeds under 50 for both of my diesels. Monday, I drove 200 miles, I think 0 miles were on the interstate! the rest county roads. Granted a few more than you drive, but most of the driving was on roads of 45 or under.
My pickup, if I take the hrs divided by mileage, I am going a whopping 27 mph ave! I may drive 50-70 miles or so a day, most on city streets etc, some interstate local, but more of a hop on go 3 miles at best, then hop off. As long as ANY motor can get warmed up driving, you will be fine. Do not let any of the new ones idle to warm up, be it a gas of diesel, this will screw the up big time.
