Diesel vs gas......................
OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

Its like a supercharged corvette, not everyone can afford/want/need to drive such a specialty "purpose built" vehicle. Other cars will get you there, just not quite as fast.
A gas truck will pull your trailer, just not quite as well. Its up to you to decide if the additional performance, and headache, is worth the money.
OK all you diesel lovers, start your flamethrowers. I said its a headache. I love 'um too, they just need to be pampered a little. With all the filters, oil, coolant change, necessary mods, and so on. If you are a guy who loves tinkering with your stuff you'll love it.
If your towing heavy with a gasser and not performing the same interval of maintenance you would with a diesel, not only will you tow a little slower, your engine will be toast WAY before its time. Towing requires a little more routine maintenance, for sure. I don't see that much more than my gas stuff. In fact, since my tires last longer, my brakes last longer and my truck needs less "other" maintenance, I find it a wash. I do hate three gallons of oil, though. Thanks to Geno's and my Fumoto oil valve!
