OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

As to the price of gas and diesel flipping...that happens every year. It's nothing new, the refineries can get away with using cheaper formulations because they don't have to worry about evaporation in cold weather. The summer formulation is more expensive to produce due to the changes needed to reduce evaporation, as a result gas prices go up more. I'll be surprised if diesel stays more expensive than gasoline come Memorial Day.
