Diesel vs gas......................
OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

I get 23-24 running 62-65 empty with my 8300 pound 11 F350 CC. Towing our fiver (around 11,000 pounds) I get anywhere from 11 to 14 at the same speeds.
That is some great mileage! I only get 20-22 with my 5.4L F250 at those speeds and 10-12mpg towing our 5th wheel 65~mph. :B
Maybe off a cliff. I have a 5.4L and have never seen anything close to those numbers. It gets 12mpg (at best) pulling my 4000lb ski boat. My Duramax gets that pulling my 10,000lb TT.
In my opinion, Gas vs Diesel is kind of like Mustang V6 or V8. Both get you to the same place in the same manor, just one is a little more expensive (and more fun) to drive.
