OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

Who said anything about a gas engine out towing one of the newer 800ft/lb diesels? Come on... quote one of us. "crickets" However, in the real world test done by Pickuptrucks.com, the gassers were right on their tails. Not enough of a difference to worry about. Why don't these tests ever load the diesels to their max tow ratings like they do the gassers? The results might be embarrassing?
