OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

First off calling me "ignorant" not knowing a thing about me, not know what I do for a living or drive daily is a little far stretched and to use you word , "Ignorance!" My f350 service truck that is my DD weighs 12,000-12,700 daily. I have had unreal loads on trailers behind it. My tool trailer weighs just south of 10,000# that until recently was hooked to it 75% of the time. We also have a f550 that we use to haul some of our lighter equipment. That's all it does. Friday I hauled a 18,000# excavator on a 7,000# gooseneck to a job 100 miles away from where I picked it up and picked up a 22,500# dozer with the same truck and trailer and ran back up the interstate to a job 50 miles away. It regularly hauls these loads. Two 10,000# skidsteers is on it at least 3 times a week. So yes I will say it again, using a 550 to repo stuff is light weight work.
