With these new 400/800 trucks who in the world needs to mod? It's the hot rod guys who WANT (don't need) to mod, like it's always been. I run a high mountain pass every trip and never an issue - had a lifted tuned coal roller truck pass me (I was doing ~60mph)on a steep grade with his toy hauler - half a mile later I passed him as he sat on the shoulder , mid grade. Big lifts/tires suck power, tuner to get it back, big exhaust/intake to try and bring down egt...what a racket.
