OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

The diesel owner got to spend several thousand extra on his engine before mods. How about taking two identical trucks without engines, transmissions, and axles. Each is able to spend the same amount to install powertrains. Who wins?

You are correct concerning the 6.0 PSD. They have some flaws that need fixed to be reliable. I have a 7.3. It's rock solid stock. I just wanted to run up 9 miles of 6/7% @ 55+ mph. And I get 11.5 mpg doing it.
Btw I am happy. I love these discussions. Just can't make it personal or take it personal that's all.
