I'm afraid it is. Torque is a static measurement. RPM is a measure of speed but isn't an indication of force. Torque means nothing without rpm in our application. RPM without torque also means nothing in our application. The two together are known as horsepower, the measurement that determines how fast we go from point A to point B. There's no getting around it. Horsepower is it.
