OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

Now if you are going to spend money to make the gas pull with the diesel at elevation then let me take the same dollar amount that you spend to to get that gasser to pull at elevation and put it in the diesel also. Whole new ball game now. You can do a lot of work for a $1000-$1500 on a diesel.
You're $8000+ in the hole to start with...that is a path you want to avoid!
