OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

I'm happy with my truck and every truck I've owned and the deals I got buying and trading. Why are you so intent on making me feel like I made the wrong choice and got a lousy deal? No , no you are taking it the wrong way. I'm not downing you or your truck. I am glad you are happy with yours as I am with mine. We are just two people discussing gas verses diesel. You make good points and I am just countering. You were comparing two different year trucks and I thought that was unfair you trying to make your point that way. The only reason I did the cost thing was for the people (not you) that are trying to say that a diesel truck is 8,000 more than a gas. If you shop around there are good deals. The cost of owning the two different trucks is pretty much a wash if you do regular maintenance as said in the OM. An '05 Hemi 3/4 has the same wheels,tires,and drivetrain parts as mine so no cost savings there.
Again Hannibal, I am by no means trying to down you or your truck. Hell , you have the best truck on the road, A RAM! Just debating the gas verses diesel thing. Sorry it came across that way.
