OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

Well there are diesel drivers and diesel owners. The driver expects to treat his diesel like a gasser and be happy. That doesn't work, a diesel is different and those that don't understand that will never like them.
I am a owner I understand the differances on my diesel and a gasser, I drive a Cummins 5.9 and will never go back to gas!
My 5.9 is stronger than my old 460 ford and gets far better fuel mileage and I. Hangs oil half as often.
There are drivers that shod never get a dies as they just don't understand the differances!
