OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

Well if you are looking for a 5er that is not flimsy at 32' to 33' may I suggest you read this thread.
As to the cost of fuel, don't look at the price difference, look at the percentage!! Then look at the percentage difference in fuel mileage. I really don't see a difference in maintenance cost for my Cummins Ram.
If you don't like or want a diesel so be it, but I just pulled a GCVW of 19,000# over Santiam Pass in Oregon, only saw the south side of 50 in a couple of tighter turns, when we would come to a passing lane, it wasn't 15 or 20 car shooting by me, it was maybe 3 or 4 and it took a bit for them to go by!
