try looking for a low milage preowned one. You'll miss thw big hit. Consumer reports last time I looked showed a 26% loss at the time of sale. That in itself will offset the add for the diesel option. Plus most warranty items may have been addressed already. Just something to think about. The last "New" truck I bought was a 72 model. I've been very successful buying used. And here in Az no sales tax on private party sales. So I stay away from dealers.
