OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

Yep...this is it. Thank you. I love it more every time I drive it. I had the camper mirrors, the black 6" oval steps, the fender flares, and wind deflectors over the windows added.
GM Retiree discount? Right at $5k, plus $7,500 in rebates...more than paid for the Duramax.
I Delco (GM) now Delphi. Started out in plating back when they made push-button radios in the late 70s and then circuit board fabrication in the 80s (dirty nasty work...lots of hazardous chemicals) Moved to silicon wafer fab in the 90s, then retired from chip placement.
If you have a GM vehicle between 1980 and 2006 there's a pretty good chance we made some of the circuit boards or processors.
Juicy stories? I should write a book....
