Well if they start pressing the HD trucks for fuel mileage, I am sure there will be more diesel HD PU, there better overall mileage.
Drove a Mazda 3 turbo diesel in Ireland back in 2007, it was new, the counter man at Hertz sure didn't want to let me have it, but I had Hertz status. Driving almost like I stole it I was getting over 40 mpg carrying 4 adults.
