OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

I think it's amazing this thread is almost 10 years old and the same questions are still being debated. I've actually read most of the 415 pages and I still couldn't tell anyone for certain which is "better"...gas or diesel... or why.
I know why I chose a diesel, but that doesn't mean the next guy would do the same thing, because all of our circumstances, needs, and wants are different.
I will say this much though, I've been emotionally attached to every truck I've ever owned and I don't think this diesel will be an exception.
