a couple i watched was 2500 GMC gas and diesel version with the same weight going up the 8 mile 7% grade from Silverthorne CO to the Ike tunnel on I-70.
The gasser got 2.5 mpg and it took 10 min or so at WOT while the diesel did that in like 8 min and got 4 mpg..
I say watch both videos of the runs and see for yourself the main difference between gas and diesel.
Then, on the same site, look at the top fastest towing times up the same mountain and also 0-60 times. You will be surprised to find mostly gassers, of course one being the Ford F-150 EB.
I know that F-150 Eco Boost is a animal for sure. it out pulls the diesels and i believe remember seeing 9 MPG uphill... WOW for sure. Now put that motor in a f-250 body, up the size from 3.2L to 4.3L and get the F out the way..
that would be the Next big thing for sure :)
