In our area, Raleigh NC, we have a lot of big gas/diesel/food stations under the Sheetz name. sheetz.com They have a card that gets a .03 cents per gallon discount at the pump on fuel and some time food.
The price is gas and diesel can be so differnet just down the street from each other is amazing.
I sorta keep up and it seem the difference between RUL and diesel run about .70 cents gallon. sometime you see it at .40 and other it close to a dollar.
I have read with like the ford f-150 eco boost they (ford) highly recommend running premium grade gas when towing to get best performance. I would also guess that to be true with most gassers as well.
At some station i see premium gas higher than diesel so the CTO, cost to operate number start to swing in diesel favor due to better overall MPG especially towing.
"that just my two cents" like the Food Lion spokes lion says on TV.
PS sheetz are mainly from NC north to PA. https://www.sheetz.com/locations/locations.jsp
