You know all the diesel heads like to say that once you go diesel you never go back. It seems that a LOT of people have gone back over the last few years.
I enjoyed all six of my diesels. But once the novelty wears off, it's just a noisy engine that can't rev. :B
When a man's last diesel of six was a whopping 305 hp at the most then he will have no clue as to what we are talking about. Why rev when the job can be done at a quiet relaxing purr.
well my little 6 at LESS than 300 HP does a great job of moving 19,500# up and down hills at the speed limit, at no more than 2,200 rpm's.
Hahaha! Yeah right. 2800rpm to the floor at 44mph.

Well if you listen to the jabber the passenger doesn't have a clue!! He thinks it is rated for 30,000#. Depends on the gear ratio, driver doesn't know which gear it is in.
I quote from the post to the video.
"
With the trailer weighing 17,000 lbs, the truck weighs a little over 8,000, lbs that equals approximately 25,000+ lbs.
With a 4.10 ratio the total combined weight for truck and trailer is 30,000 lbs.
With 3.73 the total combined weight rating is 23,500 lbs.
With 3.42 gears the total combined weight is 16,890. So before you listen to the guy in the passenger seat who obviously has no clue what he is talking about, do the research."
So unless they have the 4.10 axle, they are towing over the GCVWR. Not too bad in my book.
