I live at 4200 feet in NE Colorado, and tow over 11000 to 12000 foot passes. I'm not the least bit concerned that I'm not driving a diesel. My F-150 3.5 EB 4x4 does just fine. I don't haul a 30 foot, 8000+ lb TT though. My 24 footer is a nice compact 4250 dry (5500 max).
I love my gasser and have no interest in changing it for anything else. The more I read from you diesel "experts", the more convinced I am that I'm where I should be.
