OK folks, there have been a few to many diesel vs gas threads that have shall we say gone to "Hell and a hand basket"! So if all of you would put in you BEST, no flaming reasons for going gas vs diese...

found a 2003 7.3L superduty with 168K and second owner. Have preformed some mods like 5 position chip, resealed turbo and pedestal, wired EBPV to be exhaust, better turbo wheel, larger exhaust system, etc.
have to say if i could find one i would get a 2007 6.0L that had been bullet proofed and that would be one hell of a tow truck for a WHOLE lot less than something new.. I never buy new, to much loss when you drive off the lot, same with RV.. get a nice used one and SAVE some cash and then travel more, spend less.

I have one that the 5th gear nut was fixed. It has about 353,000 regional miles. Runs great.
Agreed.... I would also include the 7.3 PSD with the auto transmission in the Super Duty platform.
