Ya may want to look at the number of big issues with the injection pump in the 2011-latest models of the 2500HD...not good, seems they tend to blow up throwing millions of steel particles throughout the fuel system requiring a complete re-build from the Fuel tank to the IP...$ 30K up here in Canada on average for warranty cost....and a week or so to get it done.
One wonders why the cp3 on the LBZ/LML (I believe the LML did use the CP3), models wasn't good enough..?? I'm sitting at 313,300 miles on my 06 - ZERO changes to my fuel system other than triple filtration - FASS system & 1 Post OEM 5mU filter....HG's done a while ago and it runs like a raped ape. Still using the orig injectors too.
Engineers for ya, always trying to re-invent the wheel.
Cheers...look for an 06/07 classic...with the LBZ motor..10.5 -11mpg pulling a 5th wheel. No gasser will get that...EVER.
