The Bigfoot came from a rental fleet, and I wasn't sure of the condition of the tank, so I wanted to clean it to see if they had done any rinsing flushing of the tank. I used the suggestion of another member on these forums and half filled the tank and used dishwasher powder. Drove for about 2 hours to the campground and dumped the tank on the way in.
I have one of the clear extensions, and the crud that came out was a lot. I don't think I have seen that amount dump after regular use.
So yes it works. I can't attest to the pods working as well as they outer packaging has to dissolve first, but the regular powder or liquid dishwasher works very well.
