True. I have that situation now since my TC was made for a Dakota but now on a Sierra. However, once the Dakota is fixed, it will be back where it belongs.
That's another reason I built this one. There isn't really a truck camper designed for a Dakota. There are some full size ones that you could get with the 44" dakota wheel well width or you had to use one designed for a smaller truck like the Ranger. And while the newer Mid-Sized trucks like the Canyon/Colorado and Tacoma are bigger than the older ones, the Dakota still seems to be slightly larger.
That's been rumors about the Dakota returning since the Gladiator came out but nothing yet. While I prefer the square body styles of the original S-10 & Rangers, I always liked the 2nd gen Dakotas over the 1st or 3rd.
