Do you leave your diesel running ...?
I see many diesel drivers who leave the engine running while fueling (or other short-term occasions). For a while, I asked why they did that, just to see what their reason was. Never got the same answ...

Leaving a diesel running was necessary back in the early days of the diesel when it was cold out. Nowadays, there is absolutely no reason to keep them running. They start and run just like a gasser in the cold. Most that keep them running just like to hear them!
