Do you leave your diesel running ...?
I see many diesel drivers who leave the engine running while fueling (or other short-term occasions). For a while, I asked why they did that, just to see what their reason was. Never got the same answ...

A real good reason the over the road truckers let it run is because they have inverters that run 120 volt. They have TVs microwaves and other appliances. The alternators keep the batteries charged to continue to the inverter to power all.
