Do you leave your diesel running ...?
I see many diesel drivers who leave the engine running while fueling (or other short-term occasions). For a while, I asked why they did that, just to see what their reason was. Never got the same answ...

I leave mine running because I know it annoys people.....I bought the fuel so I will burn it if I want (JUST KIDDING!). I do have respect for people though, if I'm in a campground I'll shut it down if it's early or late or if the neighbors are sitting outside.
Mainly I just let it run if it's hot or cold like most people have posted.
