Do you leave your diesel running ...?
I see many diesel drivers who leave the engine running while fueling (or other short-term occasions). For a while, I asked why they did that, just to see what their reason was. Never got the same answ...

OK, here is my info right from the owners manual which came with my truck; 2014 Ram Cummins 6.7L diesel.
NO LOAD
Stop/Go around town - idle less than 1 minute to shutdown
LOADED
Depending on turbo temperature, anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes idle time.
