I must be one lucky SOB.
I've had and ran turbo's since the 70's and have only waited a handful of times to shut my engine down. Never had a turbo problem.
I was always been warned by the "Tommy trucker" types to never drive my diesel or gas turbo engine like a gas engine. What ever that means? :R
The turbo's are going to coke, the turbo's are going to fail, your engine is going to last about a thousand miles if you don't do this or don't do that.
And this is back in the sleeve bearing oil cooled era not the fancy ball bearing coolant cooled era like we have now. Oh and heaven forbid, all of these turbo's have had dino oil run through them. OMG, you're not running synthetic oil???!!!
I wonder what the Eboost soccer moms are doing? LMAO Do they wait the required 5 minutes before shutting their twin turbo trucks down? LOL.
How many of you pull over and check your lug nuts every 50 miles like the sticker says? :S
