Do you leave your diesel running ...?
I see many diesel drivers who leave the engine running while fueling (or other short-term occasions). For a while, I asked why they did that, just to see what their reason was. Never got the same answ...

Yep, for a couple or three minutes and then off. BUT if its hot and the AC is on I just put it to high idle and let it run, even over a quick lunch. If we are in an area where it is illegal or bothersome to others then no obviously. This is on an ISC 350 Cummins.
