Do you leave your diesel running ...?
I see many diesel drivers who leave the engine running while fueling (or other short-term occasions). For a while, I asked why they did that, just to see what their reason was. Never got the same answ...

Iwish iknew how to post pictures here !!! I am currently working on a 2013 cummins 6.7 in a ram 2500 miliage on truck 54k pulled engine hours and it comes up to 133k the guy leaves his idle well guess what warrenty pulled egr system plugged injectors pluged (not enough fuel filter changes for mileage 133k) egr valve destroyed. Egr clean which is nornal mnitance 800.00. well now he has to buy 6 injectors at 1200.00 each egr cooler 1500.00 erg valve 750.00 by the time its done and over with between 15/20k to get the truck back on the road. so go and leave your diesels running and see how cheap it is.. chrysler diesel idle time anything under 25mph is concidered idle time
