I had a 2009 GMC with the 6.0 and now have my 14 Ram with the 6.4. Both had/have the 3.73 gears. I'll take the 6.4 any day over the 6.0. Towing the same 5er, i can comfortably run with cruise control now where the 6.0 wasn't friendly with it. You won't regret either one though. Go with the one that is more comfortable and has the creature comforts as the rest is pretty much even.
