Dodge RAM flywheel
My '06 RAM 3500, 5.9l Cummins, 185k miles, recently started vibrating on me. Took it to the local Dodge dealer and they diagnosed flywheel, $4k to repair. Looking for input about options/alternatives....

When does it vibrate? All the time ? If it's a manual transmission and the flywheel has hot spots that can cause a vibration on take off. If it's an automatic not sure how the flywheel will cause a vibration.
What clutch did you put in it last? How long ago?
Other symptoms?
Either way, it's much closer to a $2k job, WITH a good aftermarket clutch including installation.
