So I found a good deal on a 1997 dodge V-10 2500. It is the same as my truck, only it is an SLT model and has an automatic instead of a 5 speed. The truck has 131,000 miles. Are there any real issue...

I agree the brakes on the 94 thru the early 01 RAM's were poor with the rear drum brakes. I did the EGR rear disk conversion on my 98 2500 and it was an improvement.
