So I found a good deal on a 1997 dodge V-10 2500. It is the same as my truck, only it is an SLT model and has an automatic instead of a 5 speed. The truck has 131,000 miles. Are there any real issue...

I think we are headed that direction with the new 6.4L hemi that is out now. If I could even consider a new truck, I think I would look real hard at the 6.4L. The new ford V-8 is quite a powerhouse also.
