Don't you LOVE electrical problems...
I put a new set of Sears Platinum batteries in my 2013 Eagle Cap in July 2013.
I have 280 watts of solar running through a MPPT controller.
My rig was in Yakima WA for several months earlier this year getting the entire front fiberglass cap removed and replaced...
Come two weeks ago the batteries go dead while camping. Nothing.
I pull them out when I get home (77 lbs each) hook them up to my 3 stage charger and they read as if they are charged. I put a load test on them and they don't do anything, confirming their death.
I install two new Lifeline batteries today, hooked in parallel, 12 volts, 258 ahs.
The batteries fail to bring my slide in all the way, fail in moments.
Everything is wired, from where I can see, like it was when I installed the Sears batteries in 7/13.
My back is toast, my brain is mush, I am going to sleep on it and hopefully wake up with the solution.
But, if someone out there has any thoughts, please fire away and let's see what sticks!
Thanks,
Mr. E
