The 'RED' light is the 'power is on' indicator and the 'BLUE' light is the 'RF connection to the remote is active'. I just had this condition yesterday (remote not working on the slides/jacks) and found the batteries were drained. After plugging the unit into 120 VAC, everything worked and a couple hours later, my batteries were charged back up and the system was again operating normally.
I had to open the dinette slide by hand crank to get into the unit to check the battery charge level on the monitor panel and found the task to be easy once I turned off the slide power switch just above the wake-up panel.
