Dually rear tire wear

That's the exact opposite of my experience.

The OEM tires seem to wear a lot better and a lot longer.

45 in the rear of any Dually is more air than needed running solo. 80 is more than anyone needs in the rear 4 tires. I run 45 solo and 60 rear with 4,500# pin weight. My load on the 4 rear tires is 8,780#. Look at the weight inflation chart and you will see I am running more air than needed.

I run 80 in the fronts all the time. That is a bit more than needed but with the wear caused by turning I get the best wear that way.

I am sure the op is running 80 rear all the time. Have a friend with a 07 Ram Dually and his tires were worn out in 20K. He ran 80 all the time. Could not convince him to do otherwise. His tires were Michelins. I have 25K on MS2's and they look great all around. No rotation for me!

We tow with 80 lbs for the rear
and lower to 50lbs for solo winter driving in Az.

80 pounds in the rear of a dually is way to much. What does the door pillar say? 52 or something like that?

All 3 of my Ram 3500 4x4 DRW trucks, I rotated every 7,500 miles, ran 45 psi in the rears for everyday driving, including towing my 16' enclosed trailer weighing in around 6,000-6,500 pounds continuously. With the fifth wheel attached, the rears go to 80 psi. The front stays at 80 psi all the time. My tire wear has always been with in 2/32's across all tires.

My fronts usually wear much faster than my rears.

Here's a pic of my Wranglers after moving them up to the front axle at 12,000 miles. Mines a single rear wheel mind you.

I am also surprised that the rears wore faster than the fronts. My truck has about 33,000 miles, I rotated the tires somewhere around 20k. The tires that were on the front (now outside rears) are almost down to the wear bars.

I've had diesel 2500/3500s since about 1999. I don't think I have ever been able to get much more than 40,000 miles out of a set of tires. Others claim 100k, but with that heavy of a truck that is used for towing those numbers seem unlikely to me.

26K and all of mine are anout gone. Cheap OP tires do not have ling life span
