I agree with this statement since it almost takes a mechanic to service the newer ram trucks. On the other hand a blindfolded amateur can service a Ford and Chevy truck.

All one has to do is get on a Cummins forum, and read the pages on fuel filter cap removal, and oil filter removal to understand that the remark routine maintenance is far from routine compared to the Ford ,and GM
